Listed below are just a taste of some of the beautiful beaches strung along the coastline near Brongwyn Holiday Cottages.


Mwnt

The secluded sandy cove at Mwnt ("The Jewel of Cardigan Bay") shelters under a protective National Trust headland where sheep and ponies often graze.

 

 

 

 

Brongwyn Holiday Cottages are just 2.5 miles from the enchanting cove of Mwnt. 

 

Aberporth

There are rock pools on the beach to investigate at low tide and cliff top walks along the Ceredigion Heritage Coast to

 

Tresaith Beach

At the base of a pretty little valley, Tresaith has two beaches and a dramatic waterfall that just tumbles off the cliff.

 

 

"The Ship" pub is popular with locals and visitors alike, for bar meals, reastaurant and fabulous views.


Penbryn


The National Trust beach at Penbryn is idyllic, with footpath leading from the car park through the bluebell woods and river gorge onto the glorious golden sands below.



Llangrannog


A seaside village nestling in a deep valley with dry ski slope, and dramatic beach with rocks, caves and a spectacular high cliff walk.

 

Cwmtudu

Twisting little lanes lead down to the shingle beach bordered by a stream and rock pools that was once a smugglers haunt.


New Quay
A quaint, bustling seaside town with picturesque harbour and two sandy beaches.

 

Good for bathing, sailing, fishing and boat trips around the bay in summer to spot the seals and dolphins
 

 

 

Poppit

Poppit Sands Beach straggles the Teifi estuary and is the first  beach within the Pembrokeshire National Park.

 

The Pembrokeshire Coast Path starts just down the road at St Dogmaels, though many walkers pick up the path at Poppit.

 

A long sandy beach with a swathe of dunes and views across the Teifi estuary.

 

Ceibwr

Ceibwr is reached from the village of Moylgrove, a totally undeveloped cove often visited by Grey Atlantic seals.

 

Pebbly with lots of rocky pools and crevices, (great for crabbing),and high craggy cliff walking on the Coastal Path.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Newport
