Take a nostalgic trip on a narrow gauge steam train, visit a gold mine, or try dry slope skiing in the pretty seaside village of Llangranog

 

Browse around craft shops, woollen mills and potteries or savour the Taste of Wales with local foods and wines chocolates, cheeses and seafood.

 

There is a wide choice of excellent restaurants and inns to tempt you while you explore the area.

 

Enjoy walking, sailing, horse riding, canoeing, bird-watching. Discover some of the beautiful gardens around the area, or visit the National Trust estate at Llanerchaeron. Try fishing for salmon, brown trout and sea trout (sewin) on the River Teifi, or take the family on a boat trip.

The Cardigan Bay coast is popular for windsurfing, kayaking and scuba diving.

 

 

"Coasteering" combines scrambling along the rocks at sea level, swimming and cliff jumping and is one of the most fun ways there is of getting wet!

 

 

 

 

Spend an afternoon at the Rainforest & Butterfly Centre less than a mile away from Brongwyn Cottages

 

or sample a huge range of family attractions in nearby Pembrokeshire, including "Oakwood", Wales largest theme park.

 

 

For the more adventurous, The West Wales All Terrain Park in Penparc is less than a mile from Brongwyn Holiday Cottages, offering quad biking, grass boarding, archery or off- roading.

Explore the castles and relics of the past;  the prehistoric burial monument at Pentre lfan, the Benedictine abbey remains in St. Dogmaels, or  Castell Henllys a fascinating reconstruction of an Iron Age settlement,
